Valentine’s Day Photo Frame

Recently I was in search of something creative on Pinterest to give to family members and friends this Valentine’s Day and that’s when I came across this beautiful heart in a photo frame from Muslin and Merlot and I knew that I had to replicate this look! It’s an absolutely gorgeous and timeless gift to give.

You will need:

-One photo frame  (5″ x 7″)
-(5″ x 7″) Black cardstock or black poster board
-Scrap paper
-Pencil
-Glue gun
–3.5 oz. bag of round buttons in the color of your choice (I chose red for Valentine’s Day, however white buttons produce a more clean look because of the glue from the glue gun.)

 1. Take the contents out of your photo frame (including the glass) and make sure that your black poster board or cardstock fits into your frame.

2. Use scratch paper to cut out a heart. Trace the heart onto the black cardstock.

  3. Using the pencil line as a guide, start gluing buttons in place. First fill in the outline, then the center.

4. Finish the first layer. If you have enough buttons, glue in a second layer to cover the spaces between the buttons and your frame should look similar to this.

This Valentine’s Day give your heart in a frame!
