Forget flowers and chocolates and make this beautiful meaningful gift instead. A cell phone case is an awesome DIY Valentine’s Day project especially when its blinged out! This DIY will give you the opportunity to personalize your gift and get creative. This Valentine’s Day give that special person a present they will actually use daily and love!
Needed Items:
Cell Phone Deco Kit ( you can buy these online already pre-made or go to Michael’s and get your favorite charms that represent the person you love.) Normally a cell phone deco kit comes with 8 to 10 large charms and rhinestones that range in size from large to very small.
Any glue that dries clear with a strong bond.A clear (see-through) phone case. Make sure you have one for the correct phone model!A tooth pick or nail art design tool.Instructions:
First start by placing your large charms on the clear cell phone case (without gluing them). This allows you to create a visual and get an idea of what you want it to look like.
Once you are happy with the order of the charm placement then glue them down.
The last step is to add the rhinestones to fill in the gaps. Use your nail art design tool to pick up the small rhinestones and arrange them ( in order for them to stick to the tool I dab the tool in the glue first.) If you choose to you can color coordinate your stones, or just freestyle like me and get them in where they fit in. To expedite the process of filling in the gaps, I found that its easier to fill in each spot that I’m working on with glue. Then I place 5 to 10 rhinestones in that area depending on how fast the glue dries.
Once you have filled in all the blank areas you should have something similar to this!
This will be the most unique gift your valentine has ever received!
